Are you a Black Panther fan? If so and you’re near DeKalb, IL, be sure to head over to Northern Illinois University’s Founders Memorial Library, home to comic books from the Bronze and Modern ages as well as the Silver and Golden ages. You’ll even find books with Black Panther on the cover! According to Interim Curator Sarah Cain, “Black Panther started to appear in the Fantastic Four in July 1966, but he was not a star character until ‘Jungle Action,’ which I believe was 1973 through November 1976… I thought it’d be a great feature in line with the ‘Black Panther’ movie, and this is a collection that we’re very proud of here.” Read more here.
