Check out this Star Wars collection that was auctioned off by Aston’s Auctioneers on Tuesday, September 18 in the United Kingdom! The collection, which included over 600 different lots, sold for almost $130,000. One of the most valuable items – Kenner’s Boba Fett action figure – had no bids although it was expected to bring in almost $2,600 alone. Palitoy’s Princess Leia figure, however, sold for double than expected at $1,500. Check it out for yourself here.

Check out the stamps on this envelope that was sent from Charleston to Columbia in 1850! During this time, the postal service operated on two tiers. One stamp was worth 5 cents – the fee to send the letter from Charleston to Columbia. The next stamp, worth 2 cents, would get the letter from the post office to the recipient. On October 3, this envelope will be actioned off by a New York auction house and is expected to bring in $20,000-$30,000! Check it out for yourself here.

Scott Cooper recently had more than $100,000 worth of sports memorabilia stolen from his garage in Phoenix. Some of the stolen items include a photo of the 1981 World Champion Boston Celtics, which was autographed by all players, a kid’s baseball glove signed by Cal Ripken Jr., and autographs from Barry Bonds, Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, and more. That’s exactly what happened to NJ brothers John and Ed, who had collected baseball cards when they were younger. The USPS recently paid tribute to WWI veterans with a new stamp that reads, “World War I: Turning the Tide.” According to Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II, “The USPS has a history of memorializing significant historical events, and now we can add the WWI stamp to its impressive collection.” Read more here.
